Mental Health Advocacy

Fair Chance Initiative is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing support to young marginalized communities. Our tailored programs and resources aim to bridge the gap in mental health access and education.

Engaging with local communities and fostering open conversations about mental health is at the core of our mission. We strive to create safe spaces for individuals to share their experiences and seek guidance.

Resource Development

We are committed to developing comprehensive mental health resources that cater to the specific needs of different marginalized communities. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the support they require.

Advocacy Campaigns

Our advocacy campaigns focus on challenging stigmas and advocating for policy changes to improve mental health services and support for marginalized youth.

Educational Workshops

We conduct educational workshops to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to support their mental well-being and that of their peers. Our workshops cover a wide range of mental health topics and coping strategies.

Events Planning Head

Rachel Chae

With a deep passion for the humanities, Rachel is dedicated to exploring the intersections of law, social justice, and international relations within the lens of mental health awareness.

Erin Li

Erin serves as the Communications Head of Fair Chance Initiative, combining her interests in sociology and political science with her passion for reducing mental health stigma.

Fundraising Head

Jabari King

Jabari’s personal mission is to uncover the root of mental health issues in minority communities and prevent it from becoming a generational stigma, with his experience living in New York City providing him with insight into such.
